Day 37
I have had a good couple days, working on the barn. I have cleaned, swept and removed useless stuff. I burned a huge pile of brambles in an area I have been clearing for the smoker. Smelling the smoke on my clothes after the fire makes me think wet brambles is an excellent smoking material for food.
The weather has been good enough to work outside all the time and I have managed to get a lot done. I also have been bringing seaweed up from the beach to mulch into a raised planter bed I have been working on.
Today I am traveling to the city to shop for building materials. I will spend 2 days in Cork looking at architectural supply shops.
